What can I tell you about myself? Well, first of all, I can tell you that I’m actually pretty terrible at writing about myself. So, there’s that out of the way.
I’m an introvert, which isn’t exactly the same thing as shy, but I’m that, too. The word shy doesn’t really begin to cover it.
I’m an American who probably should have been born somewhere in the UK. I’m frightfully sarcastic, enjoy dry humor, and take my tea with milk and two sugars, please and thank you. I’m fond of British television, and in fact, it’s very nearly the only television I watch. Oh, and then there’s the
boyfriend fiancé. While I never set out specifically to find a British boyfriend, the fact that he is probably didn’t hurt his chances.
I am a geek. A gamer. When the other girls my age wanted to play with Barbie dolls, I was camped in front of the television playing video games or reading up on Batman’s latest adventures. I don’t wear make-up, I don’t like dresses.
I love words and language. I have a problem with inappropriate language, though I do try to keep it under control on my blog. There was a point in my life in which I thought I’d like to be a writer, but it turns out, I have no talent for that.
I’m hard on myself. I tend to hold myself to a much, much higher standard than what I expect from anyone else, in terms of nearly everything.
What else is there? I don’t know… I’m not that fascinating. But, I did do one of those “100 things about me” bits of nonsense if you want to read that.
